Alternative Breaks Student Applications Open (Spring Break in New Orleans)

UNA Alternative Breaks is accepting applications for our Spring Break Service-Learning Trip to New Orleans, Louisiana, March 22–27, 2027!

This six-day, five-night experience will give students the opportunity to engage in meaningful, hands-on service focused on disaster resiliency, community recovery, neighborhood revitalization, environmental conservation, and community-based service. This is a great opportunity to connect with fellow Lions, learn about community needs, and make a positive impact beyond our campus.

Students who are selected to participate will attend an information session in November, where we will begin preparing for the trip and planning for our service activities during spring break. This will be an important first step in building our group, learning more about the communities we will serve, and preparing for a meaningful experience together.
