Post-Tenure Review Faculty Listening Sessions
The AL 432 Task Force invites faculty to participate in one of two listening sessions regarding post-tenure review at the University of North Alabama. Two sessions will be offered to provide greater opportunity for faculty participation.
Session 1: Friday, October 9, 1:30 p.m., Raburn Wing Room 104
Session 2: Thursday, October 15, 1:30 p.m., GUC Performance Center
Alabama Act 2026-432 (formerly HB 580) requires public institutions of higher education to establish periodic post-tenure review for tenured faculty. As UNA begins considering how to address these requirements, the Task Force would like to hear directly from faculty.
The listening sessions are intended to provide faculty an opportunity to share perspectives, raise questions, and offer input that can help inform the development of UNA’s approach to post-tenure review.
